Ellie first joined the firm in 2012 as a Paralegal having graduating from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 Honours Law degree. In February 2013, Ellie then left the firm and spent some time travelling around South- East Asia teaching and volunteering on a number of community projects. She later returned in September 2013 to undertake the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Birmingham which is where her interest and passion for Family Law was cemented.
In 2014, Ellie returned to the firm as a Trainee Solicitor and whilst working within the Public Family Law department she also obtained a Distinction in her Masters in Legal Practice from the University of Law. Ellie has successfully completed her Training Contract and is now a fully qualified Solicitor specialising in a variety of Public Family Law matters such as representing parents in pre-proceedings matters and applications for Care Orders, Supervision Orders and Placement Orders. Ellie considers that her principal personal skill is her ability to connect quickly with and maintain a strong trusting relationship with her clients throughout the duration of the proceedings. Ellie’s other main professional attributes include her keen attention to detail, her thorough preparation and her determination to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
Ellie’s sensitive but firm approach sees clients returning to the firm to be represented by her but also sees them entrusting her with the care of their family and friends matters too.
