Dawn began her legal career in 1988 starting out by undertaking all aspects of law and specialising solely in Family Law from 1990.
She first joined Brendan Fleming in 1993 where she was a member of the Children Law Department. Dawn moved to another firm of Solicitors to gain a breadth of experience in all aspects of Family Law. Dawn re-joined Brendan Fleming Solicitors in 2010 to specialise solely in Child Law, primarily Public Law and the involvement of Social Services. Dawn has dealt with a wide range of public law matters including complex matters which have involved a range of issues including drug and alcohol dependencies, domestic violence, mental health and psychological issues, Fictitious Illness and bruising. She has dealt with cases involving Adoption as well as Revocation of Placement Orders. Dawn is known for her down to earth approach to clients and often has other clients recommended to her thus. She sees client care skills as been a vital part of success in representing clients in family proceedings and appreciates how stressful family law cases are.
Dawn has 3 children aged 18 years, 10 years and 7 years. She has a practical understanding of the problems that parents may face whilst parenting their children.
